Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actress and producer. She has been recognized for her exceptional performances in films including Broadcast News The Firm The Piano, and The Incredibles. The actress has received many awards for her performance, including an Oscar. Actresses have an extensive history of working on Broadway as well as Off-Broadway productions. As a child, Helen Keller was her most loved character from a fifth grade play. The mumps caused her to lose hearing in one her ear canals, but that was not enough to stop the actress from following her dreams. At college, she was a theatre student as well as later moving from Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania, to New York City in pursuit of her dream. She was introduced to Beth Henley in an elevator and the pair collaborated on Broadway Crimes of the Heart the first movie Hunter made. Her first film role came following her move to Los Angeles. Holly Hunter has been in several films, TV series and films over the course of a 30-year career. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has also won the Women in Film Lucy Award.
