Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is an American producer and actress who has been recognized for her highly laudable performance in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. The actress has received numerous awards for her work which includes an Oscar. In her early years she began playing on stage for various Broadway or Off-Broadway productions. In her early years, Helen Keller was her favourite character in a fifth year production. The actress was deaf in one ear following a bout of mumps but did not let this disability dampen her desire to be an actor. When she was a teenager She studied acting before moving in New York City. Hunter had her Broadway debut due to an unplanned meeting in the company of Beth Henley, a playwright. The two worked together in Broadway Crimes of the Heart. Following her move to Los Angeles she tried to get film roles and bagged an acting role as a support for the role of a supporting character in Swing Shift. In the years since, she has been in numerous films and television series and movies over a career spanning more than 30 years. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was also awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
